Kirtas Books offers books for sale in a unique way. We make hard-to-find, out-of-print books available before they have been digitized. By placing an order, you determine what is digitized next. We will then provide either a hard cover, paperback or digital download based on your order.
Invest in Knowledge
Invest in Knowledge is a new and innovative (patent pending) program that allows anyone to subsidize the digitization of the world’s knowledge one book at a time and to receive 5% of all future sales of that book through Kirtasbooks.com. You will receive a reprint of that book as well as the ongoing 5%. You can invest in as many books as you would like.
Pick It: Select the book that you like and feel other people will be interested in. Remember the more we sell the more you make. Think about family and friends that may be interested in this book. We at Kirtasbooks are looking to you the Investor to help spread the word about these rare gems.
Click it: If the book you like shows the "Invest in Knowledge" option, then the book is available for the program. Once a user invests in a book the option is automatically removed. Only 1 (one) investor per book is allowed.
Ship it: Simply complete the normal checkout process and in approximately 3-4 weeks you will receive a soft cover version of the book you have invested in. NOTE: only a soft cover book is available with this process at this time)
Cash it: Start counting your sales. You will receive 5% on all future sales of that book you invested in. We supply you with a link from your account on kirtasbooks, that will report on the total sales and total revenues earned from this program. Put together your own little marketing campaign around your books to help those revenues grow. Example: when we sell a $10 soft cover book that you invested in, you will earn $.50 .
